One day after a very busy day at work I reached home around 8 pm and lay down on my bed, too tired even to eat. Just then I got word that Baba had arrived. By the time I had attended to him and given him a takhat to sleep on it was around 10. I lay down on the ground beside the takhat and after hardly half an hour’s sleep, Baba woke me up and told me to get out the car. He expressed his desire to go to Kainchi and in a state of complete drowsiness in which my body and mind were hardly under my control we began the drive.
The farther we drove, the drowsier I felt and after passing Bhumiadar I became helpless to fight sleep. I rested my head on the steering wheel and slept soundly. Kainchi is about 12 kilometers from Bhumiadar along a difficult drive through the hills and I have no recollection of passing through any of it. Suddenly Baba woke me up with a violent jerk and said, “You are sleeping.” I raised my head from the steering wheel and hit the brakes in alarm. I was stunned to see the gate of the ashram. In fact Baba had been driving the car all along.”

The physical and mental strength of Hanuman probably need no mention,
but we’ll take the liberty to talk about it anyway. When Lord Rama’s
brother Lakshmana was wounded during the course of a fight with
Ravana’s son, Indrajit, Hanuman was asked to fetch the Sanjeevani
booti before sunrise. With time ticking, he decided to become several
times bigger than his original size and stopped the sun from rising.
Hanuman’s inability to recognise the herb made him lift the entire

As the name suggests, the festival is dedicated to the birth of Lord Hanuman.
Celebrated on the 15th day of the Shukla Paksha (a period of 15 days during which the waxing of the moon takes place) in the Hindi month of Chaitra, Hanuman Jayanti is considered to be an important calendar event for Hindu devotees.
But how, when and why did Hanuman come to gain such significance in the lives of devotees who already have a universe of hundreds and thousands of gods and goddesses to choose from?
It was from the Ramayana. The mention of Hanuman occurs in several other religious texts, including the Mahabharata, but his most significant mention is in the Hindu epic, The Ramayana.
Referred to as an incarnation of Lord Shiva by some, Hanuman’s devotion and heroics helped Lord Rama defeat Ravana in the war, which took place after Sita’s abduction.
But there are several other qualities Hanuman is known for and which all of us should imbibe in one form or another.
A few learned and wise people have reported seeing him. Sage Madhavarcharya was said to have been graced with Lord Hanuman’s visit in 13th Century AD. In early 1600s, Lord Hanuman apparently visited Tulsidas and inspired him to write the Hindi Ramayana entitled Ram Charit Mans. Ramadas Swami, Raghavendra Swami, Swami Ramdas and Sri Sathya Sai Baba were all have been said to have got the darshan of Lord Hanuman as well.
His place of residence?
Want to know where he continues to live? His place of residence is said to be the Gandmadana mountain, near Rameshwaram, in India’s Tamil Nadu district. We have a temple built and dedicated to Lord Hanuman in this region. However, it is always said Hanuman resides in all those places where Ram’s glory is being sung.
Comes alive when secret mantra is chanted?
God Hanuman has the boon of immortality. He is said to be still alive. It is believed that he lives in jungles of Himalayas. Whenever the mantra of Hanuman is chanted, it is said He manifests in those places to grant His darshan to devotees and fulfill their prayers.
Jai Bajrang Bali – Lord Hanuman
Many experiences of devotees state Hanuman comes to human society many times to help devotees but remains invisible for them and works miracles incognito.
1. Eternal Hanuman
We have heard that the soul never dies and keeps reincarnating in one form or another…but in Hindu mythology, it is believed that some beings continue to live in the same form across the ages, Lord Hanuman being one of them. In any case, let us reflect on this fact: Has anyone ever heard of Hanuman’s death? It means he is somewhere alive on the earth.
2. Is Lord Hanuman still around?
Legend has it that Hanuman is immortal because he was blessed that he would be available to the devotees of Rama for as long as Rama’s names and stories were on people’s lips. It is therefore strongly believed that Hanuman is present in places where Rama’s glory is sung.
3. . Footprints of Lord Hanuman?
Such footprints of Hanuman apparently still exist in all those places where the monkey-god walked. People worship these footprints and have also built small Hanuman temples in the vicinity of the places where such prints are spotted.
4. Across the ages – Lord hanuman
The events described in the Ramayana happened in the Treta Yuga. The Mahabharata happened in the Dwapar Yuga and led to the advent of Kali Yuga. We have mythological stories and anecdotes in the Mahabharata describing the meeting of Bhima, the second of the Pandavas and Lord Hanuman. These instances indicate Hanuman was there all through these ages.
